Primary Membership (For Volunteers)
We welcome volunteers of all skills and abilities to join our team.* Training in Pothi seva is provided free of charge to willing students and all tools and materials are provided. More serious students are encouraged to collect their own tool sets. The conservation work area is located in a sacred setting and all volunteers are asked to respect this.
Supervised Pothi Seva sessions take place every week on Saturdays. Ideally, volunteers should aim attend each week but we are flexible and accommodating if you are only able to attend once every fortnight or even once a month. We also welcome volunteers who are only able to stay for a few hours during each session at a time which suits them.
*Children aged below 16 are welcome to help with subsidiary tasks only if accompanied by parents/guardians.
